Started in a Green New Deal Studio in the Fall of 2022, the following is a work sample from a climate fiction graphic novel meant to share an alternative future. It is a work of fiction, however, it based on months of research and field visits where I used the act of plein-air painting to connect with people and learn about the landscape forever altered by fossil fuel extraction.
