Materials and Technology: Spring 2025

in the Spring of 2025, I created a curriculum to teach 2nd and 3rd year students in the undergraduate landscape architecture program at Thomas Jefferson University common technologies used in landscape profession.

Using a sketchbook as the vehicle for the class, lectures were based on class sketches drawn out live and copied by students as notes. Supported with slides featuring sketches and mixed media to engage students.

The class culminates in the students taking what they have learned to create a complete drawing set to build sheds for the Park-In-A-Truck program and installed at high school sites throughout Philadelphia.
