Fresh Air Fund Summer Camp

In the summer of 2023, I spent two months working with PennPraxis Design Fellows to develop and teach a curriculum to campers that taught students skills to build out of locally sourced and reclaimed materials. We began with building sawhorses with campers, using these as tables, we built chairs. Utilizing this camp infrastructure of tables and chairs, we tore apart pallets and built signs. With a space appropriate and painting tearing apart pallet, select group of older campers built benches and tables for the campground. At the end of the program, we worked with over 120 campers.
