Eco Reps: Penn Sustainability

Working with undergraduate students, I taught wood working to three students using lumber reclaimed from lumber. This project, titled 'Real Recycling' works to accomplish sustainability goals on campus through reusing materials and improving biodiversity. The Eco Rep interns built Bee boxes in partnership with the Penn Vet Wildlife Futures Program. We constructed them with the help of volunteers at a 2025 Climate Week Event on College Green in the middle of Penn's campus. The bee boxes were filled with pithy stems and installed in Park Park to support native bee populations.
