Eco Reps: Penn Sustainability

Working with a small team of undergraduate students, we reclaimed lumber from Penn's campus canopy to build small projects such as these Pollinator Boxes. This project, titled 'Real Recycling' works to accomplish sustainability goals on campus through reusing materials and improving biodiversity. The Eco Rep interns built Bee boxes in partnership with the Penn Vet Wildlife Futures Program. We constructed them with the help of volunteers at a 2025 Climate Week Event on College Green in the middle of Penn's campus. The bee boxes were filled with pithy stems and installed in Park Park to support native bee populations.
